Workshops, Pro Demos & Skate Jam in memory of Will Paddy - Sat 12th Oct 2024

Thanks to funding from Dorset Council & Swanage Town Council, SSCP are hosting a morning of free skate, scoot and BMX workshops with the pro riders from King Ramps. There will be pro demos and a skate jam with prizes in memory of Will Paddy. Money raised through the sale of refreshments and a raffle on the day will be shared between #Willdoes & Swanage Skatepark Community Project. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

The event will be hosted by @king_ramps and is possible due to funding from @dorsetcounciluk and Swanage Town Council.

11:30 - 13:00 - BEGINNER Skateboard Workshop

13:15 - 16:00 SKATE JAM IN MEMORY OF WILL PADDY

13:15 - 1400 Scooter

14:15 - 1500 BMX 

15:15 - 1600 Skateboard

The Skate Jam at this event holds special meaning, as it will be held in memory of Will Paddy, who was a regular at the park and loved riding his scooter with friends. Will’s life was tragically cut short at the age of fourteen, but his legacy lives on through #Willdoes, a charity founded by his mother, Les. #Willdoes helps young people reconnect through sports and activities.  

Bring cash for merch, raffle and refreshments. Money raised on the day of the event will be shared between #Willdoes and SSCP (towards new ramps).
