William Fox-Pitt joins #Willdoes charity as Ambassador
We are so honoured and proud to tell you that William Fox-Pitt MBE has joined the #willdoes team as an ambassador.
We announced it on Saturday 17th October at the British Eventing ODE at RAC Saddle Club, Bovington, where he was competing. William Fox-Pitt won his section and was able to jump the William Paddy Memorial Jump and meet with Lesley Buchanan, Will’s mum and #willdoes founder and Stephanie Buchanan, Will’s auntie and #Willdoes trustee.
William Fox-Pitt was the first British rider to become eventing’s World No 1. He has represented his country over the past 30 years for the Olympics, World Equestrian Games and European Championships and has been the British No 1 eleven times.
We look forward to working with him soon in organising some equestrian activities in helping young people. Horse riding helps to improve mental and physical wellbeing and social skills. It is also beneficial for anyone looking for a new way to improve confidence and self awareness, or for a relaxing break from routine.
William Paddy was a huge fan of Fox-Pitt and lucky to have met him a few times.
Thank you William Fox-Pitt MBE for joining the team!
